I recently purchased the TP-Link Tapo 1080P Indoor Security Camera for use as both a baby monitor and a camera for home security. Overall, I'm very impressed with this product and would highly recommend it to others.

One of the standout features of this camera is its AI-based motion detection. While other cameras may generate a lot of false alarms due to motion from pets or other non-threatening sources, this camera uses advanced algorithms to distinguish between different types of motion. As a result, I find that I receive far fewer false alarms than with my previous camera, which makes it much easier for me to monitor my home.

The included app is also very user-friendly, allowing me to easily adjust the sensitivity of the motion detection to my liking. Additionally, the app provides instant push notifications whenever motion is detected. This is particularly useful when using the camera as a baby monitor, as it allows me to quickly check whether my child is awake and in need of attention.

Another feature I appreciate about this camera is the built-in 2-way audio with a siren. This allows me to not only monitor my home but also interact with my pet remotely. I often use the app to talk to my cat when I'm away from home, and I find that she responds very positively to the sound of my voice. Additionally, I feel much more secure knowing that I have a siren at my disposal should an intruder attempt to break in.

One of the few drawbacks of this camera is that it can be a bit finicky to set up. It took me longer than I would have liked to connect the camera to my home Wi-Fi network, and the instructions could be clearer. That being said, once the camera was set up, I found that it worked reliably and consistently.

The night vision feature is also very impressive. The integrated IR system provides up to 30 feet of night vision, which allows me to easily monitor my home even in complete darkness. This is particularly useful when I'm using the camera to keep an eye on my child while they sleep.

The 1080P high-definition video is another major selling point for me. The clarity of the video is excellent, allowing me to easily see what my child is holding or what my pet is playing with. Additionally, the camera's field of view is wide enough to cover most of the room, which means I don't need to purchase multiple cameras to monitor different areas.

Another aspect of this camera that I appreciate is its compatibility with Alexa and Google Home. Being able to use voice commands to view the live stream on my Echo Show or Google Chrome Cast is very convenient. It saves me from having to pull out my phone every time I want to check on my home, and it also allows me to monitor my home hands-free when I'm busy.
