I recently purchased the SoloMark Telescope 130EQ Newtonian Reflector Telescope as I have always been fascinated by astronomy and wanted to explore the night sky in detail. As a beginner, I researched a lot of telescopes and finally decided on this one as it seemed to be the perfect fit for me. After using it for a couple of weeks, I must say that I am not disappointed in the least. In fact, it has exceeded my expectations.

One of the things that attracted me to this telescope is its large aperture of 130mm. This means that it is capable of collecting more light, resulting in brighter and clearer images. It also makes it suitable for observing deep space celestial objects which is something I was keen to do. The high-resolution images produced by this telescope are truly remarkable and I have been left awestruck on several occasions.

What impressed me the most is the German Equatorial Mount. It comes with dial and fine-turned control cables that make precise positioning and fast tracking of celestial bodies possible. With the help of an adjust rod, you can easily position the telescope to observe your desired area, and then secure it by tightening the knob. Manual tracking of the moon and planets is an amazing process and is made easier by this mount.

The tripod that comes with the telescope is also of high quality. It is adjustable and has a large diameter which makes it stable. This feature enables you to locate celestial objects smoothly and accurately. It comes with an extra tray where you can store small temporary attachments, which is a handy bonus.

The telescope comes with multiple accessories that I found extremely useful. It comes with 2 high-quality eyepieces, a 1.5X erecting Barlow lens, a 1.25" 13% transmission moon filter, and a smartphone adapter. The eyepieces have varying magnifications and the Barlow lens helps in doubling the magnification of the eyepiece. The moon filter was particularly helpful in observing bright objects without causing eye strain. The smartphone adapter allowed me to take pictures and videos of what I observed which was a great way to capture my experience.

Now, I would like to address some of the concerns I had before purchasing this telescope. One of the biggest concerns was whether or not it would be challenging to set up and use. As a beginner, I found it easy to assemble and use, and I was able to get started within 20 minutes.
