After using the Canon EOS M50 Mark II with EF-M 15-45mm kit for a few months, I have to say that it is an impressive camera with commendable features. Although it is a mirrorless camera, the M50 Mark II has the feel of a traditional DSLR, but better. Let me tell you why.

First off, the 24.1-megapixel APS-C sensor of the M50 Mark II produces excellent image quality with high resolution and low noise, even at high ISOs up to 25600 (which can be extended to 51200). I was able to capture stunningly detailed and sharp images that were rich in color and contrast. The camera's Digic 8 image processor worked like a charm, delivering outstanding performance and speed that I had not experienced before.

The autofocus system of the M50 Mark II is another winner. The Dual Pixel CMOS AF has been improved and now includes Eye Detection AF that works remarkably well for both still and movie servo AF. This feature alone is a game-changer for me as I mostly capture portraits and street photography. With Eye Detection AF, I can quickly and easily focus on the eyes of my subjects, making them stand out in the shot. The AF performance is also top-notch, allowing me to capture moving subjects with relative ease.

One of the most significant improvements of the M50 Mark II over its predecessor is the ability to shoot 4K UHD at 24p and HD at 120p for slo-mo. I was impressed with the overall video quality; the camera captures smooth motion, sharp details, and excellent color grading. The Vari-angle touchscreen LCD is also a handy feature that comes in handy, especially when capturing vlogs or shooting from low or high angles. The touchscreen is responsive, and I found it easy to navigate the camera settings.

Now, let's talk about the EF-M 15-45mm kit lens. The lens is compact and lightweight, which makes it perfect for traveling and carrying around. The zoom range is decent and covers what I need for my day-to-day photography. The lens produces sharp images, and as mentioned earlier, the AF system did an excellent job of tracking my subjects. However, the aperture is not the most impressive at f/3.5-6.3, which means capturing shots in low light might require some creativity.

Overall, I'm happy with the Canon EOS M50 Mark II with EF-M 15-45mm kit. It's an excellent camera that delivers exceptional performance and quality, making it ideal for both photography and videography. There are, however, some minor drawbacks, such as the limited range of EF-M lenses available on the market, but this is something I can live with. With a customer rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars, I'm not the only one who thinks that this mirrorless camera is a top-notch product. Highly recommended!
