Silicon Power 128GB Micro SD - Review

I recently purchased the Silicon Power 128GB Micro SD Card and I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed. The U3 speed class coupled with a V30 Video Speed Class allows for lightning-fast read and write speeds of up to 100MB/s, which is perfect for recording 4K videos, high-resolution photos and even gaming on consoles like the Steam Deck.

The Silicon Power 128GB Micro SD Card is compatible with a wide range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, action cameras, drones, DSLRs and camcorders. I tested this card on my DJI Pocket 2 and the results were astounding. The card provided me with ample space to capture 4K footage, and the read and write speeds were so fast that I didn't experience any lag or dropped frames.

I also tested the card on my Nintendo Switch and I was pleased to see that it worked flawlessly. Although a system update is required to use this card on the Nintendo Switch, it was a straightforward process and it didn't take too long. With 128GB of storage capacity, I can now carry more games with me and never have to worry about running out of storage space.

What I love about this card is that it comes with an adapter, which makes it easy to transfer data to and from my computer. The adapter is also compatible with older devices that do not have a microSD slot, making it versatile and convenient to use.

The only downside to this card is that the speeds may vary for products incompatible with the UHS-I interface. In my experience, the read speed was still relatively fast at 80MB/s, but the write speed was only at 20MB/s. However, this was not a deal-breaker for me as I primarily use the card for storage and not for fast data transfer.
