Amazing lens! Having previously used the Canon 85mm f/1.8 for yearsc the Sigma really took the image quality to the next level. The sharpness of the in focus area is phenomonalc and the blur of the out of focus area is super smooth with great bokeh. Its a lens that meets high expectations for sure. I would find it hard to justify the extra $1c000 for the Canon f/1.2. br brAWESOME TIP: When shooting with a super shallow depth of fieldc switch over to AI Servo modec lock a focus point over the eyec and let the autofocus do the rest. I discovered this technique and it helps tremendously to increase the rate of in focus imagesc especially when shooting moving portrait subjectsc like models for instance.
