With this latest generation or products Samyang/Rokinon is showing is ready to take on the big namesc optically speaking. After taking over one hundred pictures with this lensc I feel I can give a fairly good review of its performance. br brPros: br Tack sharp at all apertures br Silkyc buttery smooth bokeh br Macro functionality is absolutely wonderful br Color rendition is very well done. br No fringing or CA whatsoever br brBut its not without its faults. They are minor and arent related to the wonderful opticsc IMOc but they are worth mentioning br brCons: br The provided lens hood is a joke. It will not stay in place and fall off on its own. br The aperture ring is very jaggy and unsubtle br Its rather heavy and long (relative to the size of an X-E2 body)c so dont expect this to be your walk-about/candid workhorse lens. br brOverallc thoughc Samyang/Rokinon have done a fantastic job with this lens. If you are looking for a decently fastc ~150mm (Fuji equivalent) prime for a fair pricec this lens should be in your top-3 shopping list.
