Zelotes Wired Vertical Mouse Review: Ergonomic Design, High Sensitivity, and Programmable Buttons

As a product reviewer, I have had the opportunity to try out various types of computer mice, and the Zelotes Wired Vertical Mouse is one of the most unique designs I have encountered. This mouse is designed to be more ergonomic and comfortable for the user's wrist, allowing for longer hours of usage without experiencing any discomfort.

Here are my thoughts and opinions about the Zelotes Wired Vertical Mouse, based on my experience using it:

Design and Comfort

The first thing I noticed when I unboxed this mouse was its vertical design. The mouse is designed to keep the wrist in a more neutral position – as opposed to regular mice, which can cause the wrist to rest in an unnatural position. Holding the Zelotes mouse feels like it's in a "handshake" position, which felt much more comfortable for my wrist, especially during long and intensive usage.

One minor issue that I noticed was the slight slipperiness of the mouse. However, the mouse is built with a textured rubbery material that makes it easy to grip, so this wasn't a significant issue. In addition, the mouse has six buttons, with additional buttons on both side which makes it easier to reach and navigate.

Adjustable Sensitivity

The Zelotes Wired Vertical Mouse has four different sensitivity settings: 800, 1200, 2400, and 3200 DPI. DPI is the abbreviation for "dots per inch," which measures how sensitive the mouse is. The higher the DPI value, the more sensitive the mouse is, and the greater the distance will represent on the monitor (per inch moved).

I tested out each setting and found that the lower DPI settings are best for casual browsing (i.e., web browsing or word processing), while the higher DPI settings are best for gaming or other applications where you might need to move the mouse more quickly and/or accurately. It's quite easy to adjust the sensitivity settings by pressing the DPI button conveniently located below the scroll wheel.

LED Light Settings

Another unique feature of the Zelotes Wired Vertical Mouse is the LED light settings. The mouse has four different light colors (Red, Blue, Green, and Purple), each representing different DPI settings. If you don't like the LED light, you can turn it off by pressing and holding the DPI button for over 3 seconds.

Programmable Buttons

The Zelotes Wired Vertical Mouse is also designed to be programmable. To do so, you have to download the official drivers from the Zelotes website. Once you install the driver, you can assign custom settings or shortcuts to each button. Unfortunately, this feature is not available for Apple computers, and the driver is only available in English.

Verdict

Overall, the Zelotes Wired Vertical Mouse is an excellent choice for anyone who prefers an ergonomic design over a traditional mouse. The mouse is comfortable, and its adjustable sensitivity and programmable buttons make it highly versatile. If you're someone who spends hours working or gaming on your computer, I would highly recommend giving the Zelotes Wired Vertical Mouse a try.
