I recently purchased the Vimtag Mini G3 Security Camera for my home and have been thoroughly impressed with its features and performance. This compact camera may be small in size, but it packs a powerful punch in terms of picture quality, AI detection, and response time.

One of the standout features of this camera is its ability to provide vivid full-color night vision. This is made possible thanks to the camera's smart white light that illuminates dark areas while also providing a clear picture of important features such as faces and license plates. The night vision is truly impressive and provides a level of peace of mind that I appreciate as a homeowner.

Another feature that I find particularly helpful is the camera's smart AI detection. This detects motion or sound and sends notifications directly to my mobile phone. This is great for when I'm away from home and want to keep an eye on any abnormal activity that may be happening. Additionally, the alarm button on the camera can be pressed to emit a loud siren in case of emergency.

The response time on this camera is also impressive. The two-way real-time talk feature allows me to communicate directly with visitors through live view, which is perfect for telling couriers where to leave packages or communicating with strangers who may come to the door. And thanks to the camera's integration with Alexa, I can even use my voice to monitor my home and free up my hands.

In terms of storage options, the camera offers both local SD card storage (up to 128GB) and Vimtag Cloud storage (sold separately, but with a 30-day trial). This allowed me to choose the storage option that worked best for my needs without feeling constrained by a lack of options.

One thing to note is that the camera requires a 2.4Ghz WiFi connection, rather than a 5Ghz connection. At first, I was a bit hesitant about this, as I have a 5Ghz network set up in my home. However, after using the camera for a few weeks, I realized that the 2.4Ghz connection was perfectly adequate and delivered a stable connection with no issues at all.
