Honest review and information
As someone who loves hosting movie nights with friends and family, I was excited to try out the NexiGo PJ40 Movie Projector. After using it for a few weeks, I can confidently say that it's been a great addition to my home theater setup.
One of the first things that stood out to me about the NexiGo PJ40 is its brightness. With 600 ANSI lumens, it provides a clear and vibrant picture quality, even in a room with some ambient light. I appreciate the accuracy of the ANSI lumens measurement, as it ensures that the projector's brightness is consistent and reliable.
The native 1080P resolution of the NexiGo PJ40 also impressed me, as it delivers sharp and clear visuals. I noticed an immediate improvement in the picture quality compared to my previous projector. I found the 4D manual keystone correction feature helpful for adjusting distorted images, and the automatic keystone correction made it even more convenient.
The built-in 20W speakers are another highlight of this projector. They provide a powerful audio experience that rivals some standalone speakers I've used before. Connecting the projector to other audio equipment via Bluetooth 5.1 was simple and hassle-free, and I appreciated being able to adjust the volume and audio settings directly from the projector remote.
One area where the NexiGo PJ40 really shines is its versatility. It's designed for both indoor and outdoor use, making it ideal for movie nights, game nights, and backyard gatherings. I appreciate that it has an adjustable fan level, as this allows me to control the noise level and minimize any distractions during quiet scenes in movies.
I also love the various connectivity options that the NexiGo PJ40 offers. It supports wireless screen mirroring for IOS, Android, and Windows devices, and its 5GHz Wi-Fi technology ensures fast and reliable connections. I was impressed by the projector's multiple ports, which include 2 x HDMI, 2 x USB, AV, RJ45, and a 3.5mm audio port. This makes it easy to connect to a variety of devices and accessories, such as gaming consoles, streaming devices, and soundbars.
There are a few minor drawbacks to the NexiGo PJ40 that I should mention. The first is that it doesn't support screen mirroring for certain apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hulu. While this is understandable due to copyright protections, it does limit the projector's functionality in some cases. Additionally, the projector's zoom functionality isn't as smooth or precise as I would like it to be, but this is a minor issue that hasn't affected my overall experience too much.
Overall, I'm very pleased with the NexiGo PJ40 Movie Projector. It's a high-quality and versatile projector that delivers excellent picture and sound quality, as well as a range of useful features and connectivity options. If you're in the market for a new home theater projector, I would definitely recommend giving the NexiGo PJ40 a try.
