As a professional photographer, I am always looking for the best equipment to get the job done, especially when it comes to outdoor photography. That’s why I was excited to try out the Neewer ML300 300W Outdoor Studio Flash Strobe. Here’s my review of this product.

The Neewer ML300 supports Manual, Multi, 2.4GHz wireless remote control, S1, and S2 modes. It is compatible with Canon, Nikon, Panasonic, Olympus, Pentax, Fujifilm, and Sony hot shoe cameras. Unfortunately, it is not compatible with Canon EOS 250D/1500D/2000D/3000D/4000D and Rebel SL3/T7/T100. This strobe light also doesn’t support TTL and HSS modes. This shouldn't be a problem for most photographers, but it’s always good to double-check compatibility before purchasing.

One of the standout features of the ML300 is its all-in-one outdoor strobe capabilities. With 300Ws flash power and a high guide number of 60, this strobe light has a short flash duration of 1/1000s to 1/10000s, making it perfect for outdoor photography. The 13W LED modeling lamp will automatically turn off after 1 minute, but can easily be activated by pressing the modeling lamp power button. The ML300 also has a stable color temperature of 5500K ±200K throughout the power range.

The ML300 uses brand-name batteries with high capacity (7800mAh, 10.8V) to provide 1000 full-power flashes and fast 0.4–2.5s recycle time. The batteries have multiple safety features, such as overheating protection and low-voltage cut-off protection, making them safe and reliable to use.

Another great feature of the ML300 is its built-in 2.4GHz wireless triggering system. It supports up to 16 channels (0–15) and allows you to operate from up to 65’/20m away. When used with the VC-816TX 2.4GHz wireless trigger, the ML300 strobe light can be triggered manually without the need for any cords or cables, giving you the freedom to move around and take pictures from different angles and distances.

The ML300 is also lightweight and portable, with the light (including the batteries) weighing only 4.85lb/2.2kg. It features Bowens mount, making it easier to connect with other photography equipment. It also comes with a metal Bowens cover and a white light diffuser, which is a nice added bonus.

Overall, I was very impressed with the Neewer ML300 300W Outdoor Studio Flash Strobe.
