Honest review and information

As a filmmaker and videographer, I'm constantly on the lookout for equipment that can help me take my work to the next level. So when I heard about the FEELWORLD FW568 V3 6 inch DSLR Camera Field Monitor, I was intrigued. After putting it to the test, I can safely say that this is one piece of gear that has definitely earned a spot in my kit.

First things first: the FW568 is incredibly lightweight and compact. Weighing in at just 175g, it's easy to bring along on shoots and doesn't add much bulk to your setup. But despite its small size, it packs a real punch. The 6 inch 1920 x 1080 high resolution display is crystal clear, and the Rec.709 color calibration ensures that you're seeing accurate colors on screen.

One of the things I love about this monitor is the 4K HDMI input/output. This means you can connect it directly to your camera or another monitor to view footage in real time. And unlike some other monitors I've used in the past, there's virtually no delay when using the FW568. The 4K capabilities also make it a great choice for those shooting with higher-end cameras.

But where the FW568 really shines is in its advanced features. The waveform monitoring is incredibly useful for analyzing image quality – it lets you see things like exposure and color levels in real time. And the 3D LUT capabilities are a game-changer for me. Being able to load custom LUTs onto the monitor and see how they'll affect the final look of your footage is a huge time-saver. It means you can make adjustments while you're shooting, rather than having to spend hours in post-production.

Another standout feature of the FW568 is the 8.4V DC output. This means you can use it to power your camera, which is a real game-changer for longer shoots. No more worrying about running out of battery life mid-shoot – with the FW568, you can keep your camera charged and ready to go. And if you're using a Sony, Canon, Nikon, or Panasonic camera, you can use a dummy battery to connect directly to the monitor's power source, which is incredibly convenient.

The package also includes a sunshade and a tilt arm, which are both well-designed and easy to use. And while the one-year warranty is a nice touch, I haven't had any issues with my monitor – it's worked flawlessly since the day I got it.

All in all, I'm really impressed with the FEELWORLD FW568 V3 6 inch DSLR Camera Field Monitor. For its price point, it's hard to beat the combination of features and performance that this monitor offers. If you're in the market for a new field monitor, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a look.
