REVIEW & INFO

Honest review and information

I recently purchased the DJI RS 3, 3-Axis Gimbal for my Canon DSLR, and it has brought my video production to a whole new level. With its impressive 3 kg (6.6 lbs) tested payload, I can attach additional accessories such as lenses, microphones, and even an external monitor without worrying about exceeding the weight limit.

One of the most convenient features is the automated axis locks. With a simple press of the power button, the three axes can be locked and unlocked, making transitions and storage much faster and efficient. This is a huge time-saver, especially when working on a tight schedule.

The third-generation RS stabilization algorithm is another standout feature. It has improved the anti-shake performance by 20%, making it easy to take low-angle and dynamic shots with greater ease and precision. The results are smooth and professional-looking videos that are sure to impress clients and viewers alike.

I found the Bluetooth shutter button to be incredibly useful as well. It eliminates the need for a control cable, making it possible to control the camera wirelessly. Once the connection is established, the camera pairs automatically, saving time and effort when shooting.

The 1.8-inch OLED touchscreen is another standout feature. It makes accessing most of the setting functions found on the Ronin app quick and hassle-free. The new user interface is intuitive and precise, and it's easy to navigate through the settings and menus.

Battery life is always a concern when shooting long videos, but the DJI RS 3 has a robust battery life of up to 12 hours, more than enough for all-day shooting. Additionally, it supports 18-watt PD fast charging, which means that it can be fully charged in just 2.5 hours.

One thing that I wish the DJI RS 3 had was the ability to mount the camera in portrait orientation for vertical video production. While this isn't a deal-breaker, it would have been a nice feature to have.

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase of the DJI RS 3, 3-Axis Gimbal for my Canon DSLR camera. It's versatile, easy-to-use, and packed with features that take video production to a whole new level. I would highly recommend this product to any photographer or videographer who is looking for a professional video stabilizer. With a rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars, it's clear that this is a product that delivers on its promises.
