Honest review and information
As someone who spends a lot of time in front of a computer screen, I was excited to try out Yarrashop's Desktop Ring Light for Zoom Meetings. I've used other ring lights in the past, but this one caught my eye because of its adjustable stand and phone holder. Here are my thoughts after using it for a few weeks.
First off, the versatility of this ring light is impressive. I've used it for video conferences, video recording, makeup tutorials, and even for taking selfies. The lighting is bright and soft, which is perfect for creating a flattering glow without harsh shadows. And with 120 LED bulbs and 3 color modes to choose from, I can always find the perfect lighting for my needs. I also appreciate that each mode has 10 brightness levels, so I can fine-tune the lighting to match the ambient light in my room.
The adjustable stand is another feature that sets this ring light apart from others I've used. It took me a minute to figure out how to adjust the height, but once I got the hang of it, it was easy to change the height from 22'' to 29''. This is a great feature because it means I can use the ring light regardless of whether I'm sitting at my desk or standing up. The stand is also designed to fit most monitors, so I can place the ring light behind my computer screen and not have to worry about it taking up desk space.
I was also pleasantly surprised by how stable the ring light is. The weighted metal disc base keeps it from tipping over, and the foam rubber bottom prevents scratches on my desk. This is important to me because I've had other ring lights that were top-heavy and would fall over at the slightest bump. The stability of this ring light gives me peace of mind that it won't break or damage anything.
The phone holder is a nice bonus feature that I didn't think I would use much, but I've actually found it to be really helpful. It fits my iPhone 11 perfectly and holds it securely in place. I've used it to record videos for social media as well as for FaceTiming with family and friends. It's a small feature, but it's one that sets this ring light apart from others in its price range.
One thing to note is that while the ring light is USB-powered, it doesn't come with a wall plug. This wasn't an issue for me because I have plenty of wall plugs lying around, but it's something to keep in mind if you don't have any extra plugs available. Also, the USB cord is pretty short, so you'll need to have a USB port or plug close to where you plan on using the ring light.
Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase of the Yarrashop Desktop Ring Light. It has become a staple in my home office setup, and I've even taken it with me on a few trips. The versatility of the lighting, along with the adjustable stand and phone holder, make this ring light a great option for anyone in need of a little extra illumination during their Zoom meetings or video recordings. And with Yarrashop's excellent after-sales service and support, you can feel confident in your purchase.
