Apple MagSafe Charger - Wireless - Review

I have been an avid iPhone user for a few years now, and as the technology continues to advance, so do the accessories that come along with it. The Apple MagSafe Charger is one such accessory that I could not resist getting. After using it for a while now, I must say, it is one of the best wireless chargers I have ever used.

The MagSafe Charger is a wireless charging pad that sticks to the back of your iPhone using magnets. The magnets are precisely aligned to provide faster wireless charging – up to 15W, which is a significant improvement compared to the other wireless chargers I have used in the past. The charger is compatible with iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 12, and iPhone 12 Pro models, and it maintains compatibility with Qi charging. That means it can be used to wirelessly charge your iPhone 8 or later, as well as AirPods models with a wireless charging case, just as you would with any Qi-certified charger.

The magnetic alignment experience that the MagSafe Charger offers is an incredible feature. The magnets are strong enough to keep the charger securely attached to the back of your iPhone, ensuring accurate placement every time you need to charge your phone. The charger snaps on smoothly and snaps off quickly, making it a fuss-free experience.

Another aspect of the Apple MagSafe Charger that I appreciate is its design. The charger has a sleek, compact, and minimalist design that seamlessly integrates with my existing devices. The charger is exceptionally portable and occupies very little space in my bag, which makes it perfect for travel – a feature that I find very important in today’s world.

Though it’s worth noting that it’s recommended to use the MagSafe Charger with the Apple 20W USB-C Power Adapter (sold separately), as it provides the fastest charging speeds.

The only downside that I have experienced with the Apple MagSafe Charger is that it can be a bit finicky when it comes to charging my iPhone with a case on. It’s best to use the charger without the case or with a compatible case that has an opening in the back. However, this is a minor inconvenience compared to the fantastic features that this accessory offers.

In conclusion, I think that the Apple MagSafe Charger is an excellent product that offers fast charging capabilities, sleek design, and magnetic alignment – a combination that makes it stand out from the other wireless chargers in the market. The charger is most definitely worth the investment, considering its features and the convenience it brings to the table. Despite the minor downside of needing to remove my phone case, I still think the MagSafe Charger is a game-changer in the world of wireless chargers, earning the product review stars of 4.5 out of 5 stars.
