As a professional product reviewer, I recently had the opportunity to test out the Ecomaholics Trackpad Protector for the HP Pavilion 15 (15-cu0000, cu1000) 15.6 inch laptop. This trackpad cover claims to offer protection from dust, stains, bumps, scrapes, spills, and scratches, while also extending the life of your laptop's trackpad. However, after thoroughly testing this product, I must say that I was left unimpressed.

Firstly, the packaging and installation process were both subpar. While it is true that the product comes with an installation kit and a video tutorial on how to properly install the trackpad cover, the instructions were unclear and difficult to follow. Additionally, the product did not come with any extra pieces in case of mistakes or errors during installation.

After much effort, I was finally able to install the trackpad cover on my laptop. However, the difficulties did not end there. The cover itself is extremely thin and transparent, which makes it difficult to see. This makes it somewhat tricky to use and navigate the touchpad since it creates a slightly sticky surface.

Furthermore, the touchpad cover interfered with the sensitivity of my laptop's trackpad. It was much harder to use and navigate, which ultimately defeated the purpose of the cover. I was not able to type as quickly or accurately as I normally would since the touchpad cover would not always register my touch.

Lastly, the Ecomaholics Trackpad Protector for HP Pavilion 15 (15-cu0000, cu1000) 15.6 inch Laptop Touch Pad Cover with Clear Matte Finish Anti-Scratch Anti-Water Premium Touch Laptop Accessories, is not nearly as durable as claimed. After only a few days of use, the cover began to peel at the edges and stretch in certain areas. It also left numerous bubbles and was stained from my fingers. This is definitely not the premium touch laptop accessory that it claims to be.

In conclusion, I cannot recommend the Ecomaholics Trackpad Protector for the HP Pavilion 15 (15-cu0000, cu1000) 15.6 inch laptop. The installation process, lack of clarity, degraded sensitivity, lack of durability, and issues with the adhesive all lead us to the low customer review score of 1.0 out of 5 stars. It is important to invest in products that protect your technology from everyday damage, but unfortunately, this is not one of them.
